Here at the Opinion Compare, we value honesty, privacy and thoughtful opinions, and we’re pretty sure you value your privacy as well. In light of that, we’ve tried to simplify this information, so you can better understand what we’re about.

Ultimately, we want to use your feedback to change the way companies, brands or organisations interact with you. As such, we love to collect information and sometimes this information is personal. This isn’t so we can single you out, but rather so we can combine your feedback with others like you to find meaningful trends in our data.

Our goal is to make you feel valued for your feedback rather than to leave you worried about what your data is being used for. So please read through the below points to understand how we may collect and use your personal information.

By registering for an account with Opinion Compare, you’ll asked to provide information about yourself to set up your profile.

We collect information from you in a few different ways:

Generally, the information you provide helps create insights that brands, companies, and organisations will use to better interact with their customers.

Information collected about you is also used by Opinion Compare internally to ensure you are provided with content and invited to surveys and research opportunities that are more relevant to you.

Opinion Compare will not sell, trade or share any personally identifiable information unless:

When we share our research findings with our clients or other third parties, this is done at an aggregate level, where your individual responses are combined with others that we speak to. This data is shared after being anonymised or de-identified and third parties won’t be able to know the identity of any specific research respondent.

In the event that you provide financial or banking account information to Opinion Compare so that we can transfer remuneration for your participation, this information will be kept strictly confidential and secure, and will only be used for the purposes of transferring remuneration.

You will always have the ability to edit, update or changing your profile information on Opinion Compare. Using and maintaining your Opinion Compare account is completely opt-in, and as such you may close your account at any time.

If you have any questions or complaints about either our privacy policies or procedures, please let us know via our ‘Contact Us’ page.

Our privacy policy is regularly reviewed and updated.  This policy was last reviewed 8th January 2021 and is effective from that date.
